Nizar Khalid M Al Thobaiti from Saudi Arabia is a graduate with a Master’s in Multimedia Management in 2015.

One of the reasons that made Nizar decide to join Limkokwing University was the international platform that enabled students to experience unique cultures from various countries around the world.

“Studying in Limkokwing shaped me into someone that I thought I would never be and this is due to the different mindset showing a wide range of possibilities to resolving problems, the “outside the box” way.”

He said that during his time in Cyberjaya, he was exposed to a lot of opportunities and was able to work in different fields to gain more knowledge relevant to his studies.

Nizar is currently working as a Consulting Manager with the National Aviation Services (NAS) in Kuwait. His role mainly involves strategising company growth. “Some of my current projects are opening new bases,” said Nizar.

Asked what is his greatest achievement so far, he replied “Achieving the target for viewers from the first client which was considered as good motivation for the company.”

Nizar said Limkokwing played a major part in his career, in terms of brainstorming brand campaign for clients, and execution of writing.

“The creativity, professionalism in writing, and advertising skills have been some of the more important skills I picked up during my days at Limkokwing,” said Nizar.

One of the most transparent changes that he experienced in the industry ever since he started working was the focus of work. “Back in the University, I was able to multitask, but it works differently in the working world as I was tasked with focusing on one thing at a time,” said Nizar.

“My definition of success would be when I become useful to other people by imparting the knowledge I gained during my time at Limkokwing,” shared Nizar. He also mentioned that there is no failure and no such ideas should arise because there is only learning process in life.

Nizar also encouraged individuals that would be interested in the same line of work as him to continuously experiment, which may eventually open doors for them to start as early as an intern.

“Limkokwing is definitely one of the best Universities I have attended, with so many great lecturers, vibrant environment and the way the students are taken care of,” Nizar concluded.
