Founder and President of Limkokwing University, Tan Sri Paduka Dato’ Sri Dr Lim Kok Wing was conferred The BrandLaureate Brand ICON Hall of Fame – Lifetime Achievement Award 2014 in a ceremony last night at the Marriot Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.
Conceptualised by the Asia Pacific Brands Foundation (APBF) in 2005, The BrandLaureate Brand ICON Leadership Awards celebrate the greatness of brand icons who are eminent leaders of the country. This year’s theme, ‘I Did It My Way’, celebrates the greatness of successful icons who have achieved their goals by “doing it their way.”
As the Founder and President of Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, Tan Sri Lim Kok Wing is first and foremost an industry icon, well respected and admired by Malaysians and the world for his passion and commitment to creativity and education.
Limkokwing University of Creative Technology is a testament of Tan Sri Lim’s success. The institution started out as a college for creativity and then moved on the status of University College and finally became a full - fledged university.
