The Ambassador of Uruguay, His Excellency Gerardo Prato made his first official visit to Limkokwing University on 17 Nov.

Upon his arrival, HE Prato was taken on a campus tour to give him an in-depth background and understanding of the University’s ecosystem; he visited the branding gallery, presidential library and the advanced learning facilities the University provides to students.

He applauded Limkokwing University for being a premier specialist in the area of creativity and branding. He also commended the University’s industrial approach to education which has earned numerous awards and recognitions.

Limkokwing University’s multicultural environment enables students from over 150 countries to gain exposure and share experiences, giving them a competitive advantage over their peers.

“Learning in a global culture is the key to success,” said Ambassador Prato. “The world has become global, so if you grow to understand different cultures and nationalities, you have an advantage.”

“We hope to send more Uruguayan students here at Limkokwing University,” said Ambassador Prato while adding that he hopes to strengthen collaboration between Uruguay and the University.

At Limkokwing University, students learn directly from experts through industry talks, exhibitions and competitions. By incorporating community and industry projects, students connect what they learn in the classroom into the real world.
