BAKTI Mum’s Secret Recipes

Limkokwing University sponsored a book collection of recipes for Malaysian cuisines in conjunction with BAKTI’s 40th Anniversary and website launch on 28 Aug 2017 in Putrajaya, Malaysia.

The Badan Amal dan Kebajikan Tenaga Isteri-Isteri (BAKTI) is a charitable organisation that was established in 1977 to conduct humanitarian projects for charitable causes for Malaysian citizens. BAKTI members are comprised of wives of the Malaysian ministers as well as the Prime Minister’s wife YABhg. Datin Paduka Seri Rosmah Mansor.

Her Excellency officiated the book collection launch which included 95 home-cooked recipes that have been passed down for generations. The recipe collection was compiled, designed and printed by Limkokwing University with the help from BAKTI members.

The collection consisted of popular mum’s secret recipes for delectable appetisers, nutritious main dishes and an assortment of desserts. These include ‘patin tempoyak’, ‘bubur kacang’ and homemade juices.

These 95 traditional and modern recipes were once closely kept secret, but now they are available to the public.
