The University was in the limelight again recently (31 October) when it received the Technology Business Review ASEAN Award for Excellence in the ASEAN Education Management Sector.
Winner of “Best in Media & Entertainment” by MSC Malaysia APICTA 2008

At the recent Asia Pacific ICT Awards (APICTA) the Limkokwing University of Creative Technology walked away with the Best in Media & Entertainment for its music video called Barricade by the band Love Me Butch. Aired over Channel [V] the music videos in English. The video was edited using Final Cut Pro software with the motion graphics done using Adobe After Effect.

The University was the proud recipient of two awards from the Ministry of International Trade and Industry on May 27. The Export Excellent (Services) and Branding Excellence Award showed the highest recognition and faith of the Malaysian Government in Limkokwing in bringing Malaysian education abroad.

Malaysia Ministry of Higher Education presenting the special awards to the University on 1st of October 2007 during the University has launch it London campus, for its outstanding endeavours as first Malaysian university promoting Malaysian education across the world in support of the Malaysian Government's efforts to develop Malaysia as a global brand and to promote Malaysia as a major hub for international education.

20th World Quality Commitment Convention for Excellence and Business Prestige, Malaysia, through the University received this award for quality in education. As the recipient of this award Limkokwing became the first and only Malaysian University to received this recognition which is based on the principles of the Total Quality Management quality model.
