Focused on creativity and innovation
From inception creative technology has been Limkokwing’s focus. Creativity is primarily invention; invention by design and analysis. It’s about coming up with solutions when faced with problems. The University is unlike other institutions. Here students are expected to think outside the box, and they are encouraged to be competitive — to put the knowledge and skills they have gained to the test at competitions, exhibitions and other events.
Creativity Research Library
The Creativity Research Library is a dedicated space, covering three floors within the Limkokwing Cyberjaya campus, that illustrates how extensively creativity has helped to build the nation by adding value, raising perceptions, winning hearts, improving investments, promoting destinations and so much more. It also serves as a resource for students researching into creativity. The panels explain the importance of creativity in arriving at design solutions, marketing strategies and communications of importance issues related to industry, government and academia.
The Global Classroom
The Global Classroom programme is based on the University’s unique philosophy of merging the best of East and West. It gives the students opportunity to spend a semester or two in a number of choice campuses located worldwide. A student of this programme will learn to appreciate the uniqueness of different cultures and traditions and develop a broader and more sophisticated view of the world.

Industry + University = Indusity
Limkokwing University is well-known for its strong industry links. The revolutionary concept of Indusity — a word coined from joining the words industry and university or industry within the university — Limkokwing University has been able to achieve what others can only dream about.
Students work on real industry projects
Students are given the opportunity to work on projects commissioned by the industry. The collaboration between the University and the industry enables students to participate in projects working with industry professionals to output work that is used by industry to promote their products and services.
Working with the industry
The University is linked to the Malaysia Design Innovation Centre (MDI), the University’s training arm and a vital bridge to the industry. Through the collaboration the University is able to work with industry in unparalleled ways in products or service innovation. The ability to respond professionally has attracted industry to collaborate on special projects to obtain fresh new angles to marketing issues.
This unique collaboration with industry has also been extended to government with the intention to build national competitiveness and the country’s global reputation through innovative design and effective branding.
