I should congratulate the Limkokwing University of Creative Technology for emphasizing the training of industry-ready people. The university has taken this concept a step forward through collaboration with the government-endorsed Malaysia Design & Innovation Centre to bring industry on to the campus. Such co-operation that effectively connects industry, government and the academia is essential if Malaysia is to succeed in establishing a knowledge-based economy.
