Limkokwing University of Creative Technology (“Limkokwing”) is committed to providing a Website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We are actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of the Website and in doing so comply to many of the available standards and guidelines.
Throughout the Website, users may use the following access keys to jump to a specific page:
Most modern web browsers support the use of access keys. To use the access keys, press “Alt” key plus the access key number on a PC, or press “Ctrl” key plus the access key number on a Mac.
The Website has been built using codes compliant with W3C standards for XHTML and CSS. Whilst Limkokwing strives to comply with the guidelines and standards for accessibility and usability, it is not always possible to do so in all areas of the Website.
Most of the pages are compliant with W3C XHTML 1.0 Transitional specification. However, some pages on the Website do not yet meet the standards. We are working on these, and hope to achieve full compliance in the near future.
The visual design of the Website uses strong colours with high contrast to provide better readability. If the browser does not support style sheets, the Website will still be readable.
Whilst some absolute pixel sizing is used, all paragraph text on the Website is relative. Modern web browsers may allow users to use the combination of “Ctrl” key with the “+” or “–” key to increase or decrease the font sizes.
Wherever possible, links will be highlighted in blue colour to differentiate from paragraph text.
External links are indicated by the external link icon. It is recommended to open external links in a new windows or a new tab to avoid breaking the flow of your browsing experience.
Wherever possible, images used on the Website have descriptive alternate text. Decorative or non-essential images have been specified using CSS.
Whilst Limkokwing continually makes the Website as accessible as possible, we know it is always possible to improve. If you experience any difficulty in accessing the Website or you have any comments or suggestions as to how we could improve the Website, please do not hesitate to contact us.
