Limkokwing University welcomed delegates from the CG Institute of Management, Nepal to discuss further collaboration opportunities on 13 January.

CG Institute of Management (CGIM) is an initiative of the Chaudhary Group (CG) that was established to produce world class business leaders to lead their organisations in the modern competitive environment. CG has years of experience and success in identifying key requirements and needs of Nepal’s corporate business sector.

CGIM partnered with Limkokwing University to ensure Nepali students are prepared to enter the global job market.

Chaudhary Group Deputy General Manager (Education) Mithlesh Kr. Jha and CG Learning Academic Advisor & Management Committee Member Prof. Dr. Mahananda Chalise represented the group at the University’s Cyberjaya campus to discuss further expansion plans for the collaboration.

“The collaboration with Limkokwing University will enable us to enhance the knowledge, skills and attitude of the students to meet the global market competitiveness,” said Prof. Dr Mahananda. “Limkokwing University would help us to achieve several milestones.”

The collaboration aims to enhance communication and cooperation between the two institutes.

“We have plans for the students to make Limkokwing University as our parent University,” said Mithlesh. “We came to learn more about how the classes are conducted and meet the faculty members.”

According to him, students will have greater opportunities to develop themselves as entrepreneurs.

“Students at Limkokwing Malaysia will have the opportunity to experience international culture and gain more exposure,” he added.

“We will be launching more plans for collaborations at CGIM such as software management and information technology,” he said. “We are also introducing PhD programmes and classes in the United Kingdom.”

He added that there are more collaboration plans that are still underway which will be further developed in the near future.

Limkokwing University conducts collaboration with various international educational institutions to ensure students gain global exposure. This enables students to gain multicultural knowledge to succeed in a highly competitive global environment.
