Limkokwing students celebrated Asian culture through a dazzling event dubbed ‘Colours of Asia’ recently at the University’s Hall of Fame.

Being the earth’s largest and most populous continent, the culture of Asia is vibrant and immensely interesting. Colours of Asia recognised various Asian cultures across Limkokwing and beyond bringing together students from over 150 countries under one roof.

The night was filled with power-packed performances from students, good music and various activities for everyone to enjoy.

Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Broadcasting and Journalism student, Abigail Veronicca Jessinta, who was also one of the energetic performers at the night, said that Limkokwing’s culture of bringing together students from different parts of the world through such events is what makes the University stand out different from the rest.

“My team and I took about a week to rehearse and to be fully prepared before the event and yes, it was exhausting, but it was worth it as we were able to work as a team and that showed us how important unity is in a University,” said Abigail at the event.

As the World’s Most Globalised University, Limkokwing has students from over 150 countries; it constantly strives to strengthen their bond and widen their knowledge through global education.

Through cultural events Limkokwing University, encourages student integration for every race, religion or creed from which a diverse cooperative community can prevail.  Students are provided with a unique opportunity to celebrate and embrace their national pride while getting exposed to numerous facets of culture.
