Limkokwing University collaborates with CyberSecurity Malaysia for Safer Internet Day 2019
CyberSecurity Malaysia’s Chief Executive Officer Dato’ Ts. Dr. Haji Amirudin Abdul Wahab paid an official visit to Limkokwing University Cyberjaya on 23 January 2019 to discuss creative direction for the launch of the upcoming Safer Internet Day.
He was accompanied by CyberSecurity’s Outreach & Corporate Communications Executive, Edwan Mohammad Aidid and the manager Ramona Susanty Abd Hamid.
As the World’s Most Popular University online, CyberSecurity Malaysia gave credence to Limkokwing to provide creative direction in artwork and content for Safer Internet Day 2019, themed My Digital H20: Respect, Educate and Protect.
Safer Internet Day’s objective is to promote wellness in the digital world through healthy mental well-being, and ethical social values especially targeted on the youth because they live in an “on demand” interactive digital culture where social media has become an influential platform to their social lives.
Giving details on the theme, Dato’ Ts. Dr. Haji Amirudin, said H20 is a symbolic representation of the Internet which is a vital element in digital life.
“Limkokwing produced the Cybercrime and Pink Ribbon video, and it is really good. We’ll look good and professional because of your work and that’s the reason why we want the University to help us in content for Safer Internet Day 2019,” he said.
Safer Internet Day Malaysia is launching on 13 February 2019 at the Ministry of Communication and Multimedia.
