Prime Minister’s Department recognises Founder and President of Limkokwing University as International Peace Ambassador
Minister from the PM Department YB Tan Sri Datuk Seri Panglima Joseph Kurup recognised the Founder and President of Limkokwing University as International Peace Ambassador during the International Day for Tolerance celebration on 16 November.
Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Paduka Lim Kok Wing is a globally well-known creative force for innovative and transformative education. He is the Founder and President of Limkokwing University, Malaysia’s Most Globalised University.
“In a world engulfed by violence and conflict, we recognise his passionate commitment and lifelong endeavour to instil tolerance and understanding in the hearts of youths from across the world as the best means to bridge differences and create an environment to build global peace,” said Tan Sri Joseph Kurup as he awarded the recognition to Tan Sri Lim.
Limkokwing University changed the face of private education through a creative approach that fuses industry experience with academic learning. Thousands of young people from around the world have gained world-class tertiary education by virtue of the University’s pioneering and innovative philosophy which centres on creativity.
There are more than 30,000 students in Limkokwing University’s various campuses in Asia, Africa and Europe. Its flagship campus in Cyberjaya alone holds close to 10,000 students, of which 80% comes from foreign countries.
