The Founder and President of Limkokwing University, Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Paduka Dr. Limkokwing, has been awarded with two top recognitions at the 8th Global Leadership Awards (GLA) held on 25 July 2018 at the Hilton, Kuala Lumpur.
The recognitions are for Leadership of Innovation and Globalisation in Education, and for National Unity and Philanthropy, both of which were received on his behalf by Limkokwing Vice President of Brand Creativity and Talent Development, Dato’ Tiffanee Marie Lim.
The Global Leadership Awards recognizes entrepreneurs, corporate leaders and outstanding personalities from around the world who have excelled in their respective arenas and made an impact on the global community.
The Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Yang Berhormat Dato’ Mohd Azis Jamman, was the guest of honour at the gala dinner.
Other dignitaries who graced the event were HRH Tengku Sulaiman Shah Ibni Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah; Mr. Shahul Hameed Shaik Dawood, Organising Chairman of GLA 2018; and Mr. Arthur F. Carmazzi of the American Leadership Development Association (ALDA).
