Limkokwing University welcomed 33 students from the Yala Rajabhat University, Thailand during a study visit on 3 May 2017.
Yala Rajabhat University is a higher education institution that is playing a significant role in community development in provinces at the southern border. The university mainly aims to improve human resources in an effort to strengthen the standard of living through education management based upon the integration of global study and local intelligence.
The study visit enabled students to learn more about Limkokwing University’s creative multicultural learning environment and industry focused approach.
“Creativity is crucial in the information age,” said Yala Rajabhat University lecturer Atcharaporn Yokkhun. “This university encourages students to bring out the best of their capability.”
She also mentioned that students can fulfil their fullpotential due to the University’s diverse community and advanced technological facilities.
“With the new generation, students are more in tune with the information age,” she added. “The technology will help to support the students’ educational needs.”
“It would be a fantastic opportunity to study in a multicultural environment,” said Nuraiya Saemmasu who is studying Degree in Information Technology after completing the tour around the University’s campus.
She was impressed by the University’s brand presence, multimedia facilities and the professionalism of the Limkokwing educators.
“They were warm and friendly while sharing their knowledge with us during this visit,” she added.
“We learnt to develop new ideas to create branded products that would appeal to the market,” added Teerasak Nakoman who is studying Information Technology after meeting the University’s lecturers.
“Multicultural experience would help me to improve my attitude towards work and interacting with people from other countries,” he said.
