New and returning students joined the upcoming academic year in a two-part registration and orientation session on 13th to 24th February 2017 and 3rd until 14th April 2017.
The registration week brought a multitude of new students ready for a creative and innovative education in Limkokwing University’s diverse environment.
A new student from Malaysia, Tan Guo Hao studying Foundation in Built Environment, acknowledged that Limkokwing University truly has an international feel.
“I was amazed at how many different faces I saw on campus, choosing Limkokwing University is the best choice and I can’t wait to make friends from all over the world,” said Tan.
For Aimen Azim from Pakistan, Limkokwing University is one of the best in Malaysia due of its creative way of learning.
“I enrolled for a Bachelor of Design (Hons) in Professional Design at this University, because there is no better one to study at. I believe Limkokwing University will instil me with the right skill set that will set me apart from the rest when I graduate.”
Students were also immersed in a 2 week-long educational orientation to familiarise them with campus facilities and assist them in making a smooth transition.
Through an exciting and informative programme of creative activities and events, students built relationships with fellow new students, returning studentsand staff.
Different faculties provided new students with information about prospective career paths for all courses.
Limkokwing University provides a conducive environment for students to mingle and work with people from different cultural backgrounds. This allows the students to understand the international market and adapt themselves to a culturally diverse community.
