Industry Partner Profile: T-Systems Malaysia

With a footprint in more than 20 countries, 47,800 employees, and an external revenue of 7.9 billion euros in 2016, T-Systems is one of the world’s leading providers of information and communications technology (ICT).

T-Systems offers a range of integrated solutions for business customers. This includes the secure operation of legacy systems and classic ICT services, the transformation to cloud-based services, as well as new business models and innovation projects. These include data analytics, the Internet of Things, machine-to-machine (M2M) communication, and the Industrial Internet.

T-Systems provides these services through its global reach in fixed-network and mobile communications, its highly-secure data centres, a comprehensive cloud ecosystem built around standardised platforms and global partnerships, and its ability to offer top levels of security.

As Deutsche Telekom’s business and corporate customer arm, T-Systems supports large multinational corporations and medium-sized companies across all sectors worldwide.

Comprehensive Cloud Ecosystem

Cloud computing is increasingly gaining acceptance along with the classic operations of IT systems. Together with around 90 partner companies including industry leaders such as Avaya, Cisco, Huawei, Informatica, Microsoft, Salesforce and VMware, T-Systems offers customers a full array of cloud models—from tailored private clouds and low-cost public cloud services to hybrid clouds.

With its extensive experience in cloud computing, T-Systems has earned the trust of many renowned companies in recent years. Corporations such as Shell, Daimler, Correos, and financial service providers like Union Investment rely on the company’s cloud computing expertise.

International Network Alliances

T-Systems works together with network operators worldwide. In 2016, the company and its international partners founded ngena, which stands for Next Generation Enterprise Network Alliance. Still in its establishment phase, the fixed network alliance is bound to offer secure, high-performance global services for international customers starting 2017.

T-Systems is also going global in terms of mobile networks. Via Freemove (Europe), Bridge Alliance (Asia) and T-Mobile US, the company can provide its customers with reliable mobile coverage in 100 countries across the globe.

Digitising the Economy

Founded in 2015, the T-Systems Digital Division unites the company’s digitisation expertise in a single business unit.  It focuses on refining innovative digital solutions that will help the company optimise its development, production and customer processes.

The solutions include applications for analysing large amounts of data in real time, solutions for connecting objects and machines, industry-specific solutions such as Connected Car, as well as a connected healthcare system.
