Krishnakkumar Easvaramurthy, a free spirited and fun loving guy comes from the second most populous country in the world. He is one out of 1.2 billion people in the Republic of India.

Krishna believes that being a host at Wings Radio has helped him improve his communication skills.

He is passionate about writing, photography, videography, and the latest addition to his interest list is radio hosting at Wings Radio. Krishna handles Wings’ news slots on every Wednesday and an entertainment show named ‘Reel Legacies’ on Fridays.

Krishna is currently pursuing his studies in Creative Multimedia at Limkokwing University.

Aside from being a multimedia student, Krishna is also an editor for a newspaper publication back in his hometown of Coimbatore, India.

“When I graduated high school, I actually didn’t want to attend college. So I told my folks that I wanted to start working. While at school, I wrote articles for this publication called ‘The Hindu’ and eventually I interned for them. The company saw that I can do something with writing and they took interest in me. I’m still working for them and I find this as a good opportunity,” said Krishna.

Krishna, the proud photographer with his captured moments. Krishna feels photography is one special way to express himself.

Growing up in India, Krishna finds that the food and the culture of his country stands out among other countries. He describes India as a beautiful country with great hospitality that everyone would love after visiting.

One of his most memorable travelling experiences happened when he explored a forest in South India nearby a river called ‘Munnar’.

He said, “The time we went was the season where animals go wild. They were everywhere on the trails. As we were going in, it was all good. We saw Asiatic cheetahs running along our jeep and that was something we don’t see every day. All of a sudden, the driver stopped because there was a wild ox standing 100ft away from us. It was as huge as our jeep.”

“I’m able to express my thoughts freely at Limkokwing University of Creative Technology,” says Krishna.

“The wild ox didn’t want to move. It was just standing there staring at us. I really love animals. So I went down with my camera and walked towards the ox very slowly. The ox stood there and was friendly with my camera. After a few clicks, the ox went away. It was a really great moment in my life as a photographer especially when I’m inspired by nature photography,” added Krishna.

As a second year Limkokwing student, Krishna is very much spell bound by the multicultural environment and the unity on campus. “Here at Limkokwing, we have people from all around the globe. Every time I talk to someone, there is always something new that I can learn.”

Someone who loves exploring new culture and experiences, Krishna has been to many places throughout his travels including the United Kingdom, USA, Australia, Hong Kong, China, various places in the Middle East as well as a few African countries. Being in Malaysia, he also took the opportunity to visit the neighbouring countries including Thailand and Indonesia. He added that he plans to visit Korea and Japan some day.

Krishna’s interest in photography began from a very young age.

On his future, he says, “After I graduate, I would love to pursue videography. I want to be a short film maker where I get to travel more. Apart from that, I want to do an advanced videography course in Canada. I’m looking forward to it.”

He enjoys writing short film scripts and likes to watch thrillers and comedies. Krishna has directed a total of seven short films of his own interest to date.

“Limkokwing has built the creative thinking in me. This has helped me to think out of the box and from there I sprouted more innovative ideas from my mind.”
