30 May 2018 will be a day to remember for many students of the Class of 2018 as they were given the opportunity to attend a rare, motivational talk with Limkokwing University Director of Corporate Communications, Datin Nikki Lugun.
Graduating students from all faculties arrived early at the Hall of Fame with hopes of getting some valuable career advice and also helpful tips for conquering their final exams from Datin Nikki, a renowned author and experienced journalist.
“There is no mystery, just turn up for your exams and do your very best and you’ll do just fine,” said Datin Nikki.
She said that inspiration is the first step in sparking motivation.
“To burn that spark, make sure you celebrate every success you achieve. Whether it is small or big, it doesn’t matter. Just celebrate it,” Datin Nikki told the students.
Pramanta Karel Siregar, who will be graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Civil Engineering, said that he was already planning to pursue his Masters right after graduation.
“Be smart, work smart and always strive to do better than what you have achieved,” said Pramanta.
Another student, Sakthis Valatharasu, who will graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in International Business, said that the talk had given him so much to ponder, especially on how to prepare for a competitive career ahead.
“It is very important to be prepared for this next step in our lives as we will be facing a whole different atmosphere, with bigger expectations and a lot more competitive challenges,” said Sakthis.
