On 2 May 2019, Tan Sri Limkokwing was recognised for ‘Leadership Excellence in Global Education’ at the Global Leadership Awards. The prestigious event was held at Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), Kuala Lumpur.
Limkokwing Vice President of Brand Creativity and Talent Development, Dato’ Tiffanee Marie Lim, received the award on his behalf.
Over the past four decades Tan Sri Limkokwing’s outstanding track record in highlighting the value of industry-led education through Limkokwing University has created an institution that is transforming nations worldwide.
Some 30,000 students from 165 countries sitting in classrooms and industry workshops at Limkokwing campuses across Asia, Africa and Europe bear witness to this fact.
Both Tan Sri Limkokwing and the University have received awards from around the world, in recognition for unparalleled excellence, quality and contribution towards transformational change. To date, there are over 700 prestigious awards, honours and recognitions from industry, governments and NGOs across five continents.
