On the weekend of 13 – 14 December, The Encorp Strand Mall in Damansara played host to the ‘Be The Best Graduate Showcase’, an integrated exhibition showcasing Limkokwing University graduating students' outstanding portfolio of works in games, videos, animation, web design, product design, photography, architecture, business, hospitality management, computer science, fashion, sound engineering and more.

The ‘Be The Best Graduate Showcase’ is Limkokwing University’s way of recognising and celebrating the achievements of its students. The exhibition simultaneously marked the end of one chapter, and the beginning of another; for this was the last exhibition for most of these students as they will be graduating in just a week’s time. From here on the students will move on to the next stage of their careers.

These students’ pieces were exhibited from various courses and programmes from all the faculties in Limkokwing University. The students were on-hand, alongside the lecturers, to explain to the public the concepts and meaning behind their works.

According to Hadi Abid from Pakistan (B.A. (Hons) in Animation), the exhibition was a meaningful platform for the final semester students to come together to display their masterpieces to the public. “We work hard to generate extraordinary ideas in order to make this experience one of the best for our audience as well for our fellow students.”

“In addition to this I will not forget my lecturers and the entire faculty of Limkokwing who have helped me and motivated us through thick and thin.

Ahmed Saleem Deen from Kenya (B.A. (Hons) in Creative Multimedia) concurred to what Abid said, saying that through the exhibition, “you will find the unbridled creativity that courses through our veins, displaying itself in the uniquely creative works therein.”

Saleem Deen, who is looking forward to graduating in a week’s time, said he was glad that he chose Limkokwing University to study creative multimedia. “Limkokwing have given me a very good understanding how the industry works, how to work with other people, not just from my country, but from all over the world. This has given me a very mature understanding of how to live and how to function with others.”

‘Be The Best Graduate Showcase’ was the culmination of these students exhilarating experience throughout their years at Limkokwing University. The 2014 batch graduation ceremony will be held on 20 December 2014 at PICC Putrajaya.
