Implement creative ideas with Limkokwing’s newly launched Business Innovation Club (BIC)
Limkokwing University launched its brand new Business Innovation Club (BIC) on 3 October 2019 at its flagship campus in Cyberjaya.
Launched in the presence of industry practitioners and academia, BIC is an initiative by the Post Graduate Centre made up by academic staff and postgraduate students.
It aims to provide a platform for students to sharpen and promote research and entrepreneurship skills and serves as a framework to guide them in contributing the best innovative business models and entrepreneurship concepts. Additionally, it will offer academic merit scholarships to students who excel and strive for outstanding performances in their field.
Through the club, students will exchange experiences, build a powerful network and form teams that work on game-changing ideas as the club boasts talented patrons, network of industry leaders and research resources.
Jennifer from the Centre of Post Graduate Studies and Professional Development said BIC offers a great opportunity to apply what she learned in Limkokwing back in her home country.
“The club will be an opportunity for students to display their creative and transformative ideas, more specifically the interpretation of their work. It will enable students to keep their business ideas active and executed, while shaping their business acumen.”
From brainstorming to project implementation, students are thrilled to use the incubator lab that would be set up as a part of the Business Innovation Club students Project Development. The club is open to all students to register.
At Limkokwing students are given every chance to make an impact and explore knowledge for themselves. They come up with new ideas, implement projects and showcase their creations to professionals in exciting exhibitions and stage shows. They join numerous clubs and take part in sports, cultural activities off and on campus creating a multi-faceted ambiance,
