Vice-Chancellor of Leeds Trinity University, United Kingdom, Professor Margaret House was welcomed at the Cyberjaya campus on 30 April 2018, for discussions on expanding ties with Limkokwing University.

Upon arrival, Prof. House received a warm reception from Limkokwing staff and was then given a full tour of the Presidential Library where she was briefed on the many achievements of both the University and its Founder and President, Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Paduka Dr. Limkokwing.

“It is important for our students to recognise international experience and I believe Limkokwing University is the place to be,” said Prof. House at a meeting with the Limkokwing senior management team.

“We value the opportunity of working with leading Universities and Leeds Trinity will definitely be one of them,” said Limkokwing University Vice President for Brand, Creativity & Talent Development, Dato’ Tiffanee Marie Lim.

At the meeting, Tan Sri Limkokwing expressed interest in creating a special programme for students from Leeds Trinity University.

“Our partnership should not only end at academic level, but instead should be extended to learning each other’s traditional cultures through various interesting and exciting events,” said Tan Sri Limkokwing.

He said that it is now or never for British students to come and experience what it is like to be part of a diverse environment filled with so many different nationalities.

“Professional practice is essential and it is good to know that Limkokwing University has always been in that track,” said Prof. House as the meeting drew an end.
