On 14 May 2018, Limkokwing University welcomed a delegation from Nitte University of India to discuss collaboration in several areas including student exchange and campus expansion plans.
Representating Nitte University were the Head of Architecture, Professor Vinod Aranha, and Pro-Chancellor of the University, Mr. Vishal Hegde.
“Their creative approach in today’s competitive world, always adding value in everything they design - this is what makes Limkokwing University stand out over other universities both locally and abroad,” said Mr. Hegde.
He added that bringing in students from Nitte University to Limkokwing would be great exposure for them in terms of learning culture and latest fashion trends, as well as a unique creative design approach.
“We are in the midst of expanding campuses in India, therefore it will be great to have a feel of the architecture in several universities in Malaysia. Limkokwing was one of our choices due to the creative touch this University brings to the world,” said Prof. Aranha.
Also in attendance was Vanessa Lungan Lai, a Project Architect from T.R. Hamzah & Yeang Sdn. Bhd.
