Over 20 students from Egypt’s Misr University for Science and Technology (MUST) arrived in Limkokwing University’s flagship campus in Cyberjaya on 14 April 2019 to embark on an intense two weeks long Global Campus Programme.

The Global Campus programme is Limkokwing University’s unique approach that provides students in higher education with career enhancing skills to enable them to compete and stand out when seeking for employment in international organisations.

On the first week students were familiarised on a behind-the-scenes look at the various Malaysia-based corporate organisations in the branding and packaging industry, retail, as well administration practices. Students also attended talks and workshops by top industry names covering education and co-curricular activities with a unique insight into professional life and work in Malaysia.

They were also taken on a fully specialised Limkokwing tour and visited Presidential Library, International Branding Gallery, Plaza, and Content Creation Centre (CCC) to learn about the University’s history, philosophy and achievements.

At CCC, they were given a presentation of the University’s groundbreaking projects such as Starfall Catalyst; a game based learning mobile app developed on campus, and the PanaXity Panoramic Digitisation platform.

Starfall Catalyst is a first-of-its’s-kind ‘third-person shooter’ game where players are tasked with blazing through a fully 3D environment while unlocking fascinating chemistry concepts along the way.

Meanwhile, PanaXity is an award-winning platform which features the world’s largest panoramic image – a stunning, seamless 360° image of Kuala Lumpur.

Limkokwing University encourages industry exposure as part of the University’s multicultural learning programme, to help the participants to develop their confidence while increasing their job prospects abroad.
