The festive atmosphere of NU Sentral KL was livened up by the carolling of the Limkokwing International Goodwill Ambassadors in the run-up to Christmas on 19 and 23 December.

The performance by the Limkokwing International Goodwill Ambassadors was part of the NU Sentral ‘Christmas Holidays at NU Town’ celebration. NU Sentral is an upscale shopping centre located in the heart of the nation’s largest transit hub – Stesen Sentral Kuala Lumpur.

The high spirits and exuberances shown by the 20-strong International Goodwill Ambassadors choir were very infectious as they belted out timeless Christmas classics ‘All I Want for Christmas Is You’, ‘Santa Claus Is Coming To Town’ and ‘Winter Wonderland’, which soon made the crowd join in and start singing along. This set the mood for the audience and the next performances. Following the end of the group choir performance, the Ambassadors also presented four individual classic songs: ‘Santa Baby’, ‘Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas’, ‘Phantom of the Opera’ and ‘The Prayer’.

The Limkokwing International Goodwill Ambassadors choir is made up of volunteers from the international student community from the University’s flagship campus in Cyberjaya. There are over 150 countries represented on campus and this has lead the University to be conferred the title of ‘Global University of Malaysia’ by the Prime Minister of Malaysia. Over 75% of the student population at the Cyberjaya campus are international students, thus giving students a unique global learning environment. Volunteering for the Limkokwing International Goodwill Ambassadors choir means that students have the opportunity to promote peace and unity through music.
