With the interior design market expected reach USD 23.15 billion by 2023, the industry will only see a rise in demand for interior designers worldwide.
Our alumna in Bachelor of Arts (Interior Design) is set to take the world of design by storm and has successfully co- founded Kasz Studio - an interior design company that provides various services and design consultation regardless of client’s budget and locations.
Founded in 2015, by two young designers, Syafika Zain and Khairul Azim, the brand has captivated big brands like Smart Selangor (MBI), Google, Greentech, Allmetal Services, JDT Players and Toyota Showroom.
Striving by an inspirational motto; “Imagination brought to life” Kasz Studio’s mission is to create the most compelling interior design company in Malaysia by building a high-tech ID Production business.
“I studied interior design for my diploma studies and interior architecture for my degree. Limkokwing University is an international institution that influenced my communication and connectivity as I networked with people from around the world,” says Syafika.
“My partner and I have done more than 40 projects since we started 5 years ago. The biggest project we have done was for Smart Selangor Bus Stop Malaysia. Our design was chosen among 30 other companies that competed at the same time.”
Syafika was also part of Limkokwing’s Sound & Music team for choir, and represented the University at debate and design competitions.
“The achievement I’m proudest of is having my own company at the age of 24. Being a businesswoman has its fair share of challenges. We need to have a unique design idea to satisfy every client. It has been long journey for my team members and I.”
“Our dream is to become the best designers in Malaysia and go international. We provide solutions and we are very keen to help more people in future.”
As the dynamic duo set stage to gain global recognition, they continue to do what they do best- create art and magic.
