The Bachelor of Design (Hons) in Professional Design is a three-year honours degree that aims to progressively develop the students’ creative potential in conceptualising and using innovative technical skills. During their first three semesters of study, students will acquire the fundamental knowledge and skills of a graphic designer with direct exposure to the industry in the areas of corporate communications, multimedia and illustration. By their fourth semester, students will gain eleven weeks of practical industry experience.

In the final year, students will specialise and develop deeper knowledge in an area of their choice, which includes advertising and multimedia with supporting subjects in animation, web technology and marketing.
