Lee Hammond, CEO of ASIC (Accreditation Service for International Schools, Colleges and Universities, United Kingdom), visited Limkokwing University on Wednesday 5 April 2017.
ASIC is an independent body specialising in the accreditation of schools, colleges, universities, training organisations, online and distance education providers worldwide. ASIC has been working closely with Limkokwing University to bring TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) education to the forefront through networking with various global bodies such as the International Vocation and Education and Training Association (IVETA), TVETUK, UNICEF and UNESCO.
ASIC recently recognised Limkokwing University as the Global TVET Model University for its successful systematic delivery of industry-relevant programmes across its campuses on three continents.
ASIC also acknowledged President and Founder of Limkokwing University, Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Paduka Dr. Lim Kok Wing, with the Transformational Leadership in Global TVET Education Award.
