Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor launches new PERMATA programme website designed and developed by Limkokwing University
The Prime Minister's wife and the patron of PERMATA, Datin Sri Rosmah Mansor, yesterday officially launched the new Program PERMATA website, designed and developed in-house by Limkokwing University.
The Permata programme’s website can be accessed at the official URL of www.programpermata.my.
The new website functions as a platform for all seven different divisions under PERMATA. It presents an overall structure of the PERMATA programme in a standardised format, but at the same time emphasises the unique objectives of the individual divisions within PERMATA without sacrificing any salient features of the organisation. It was designed to represents the ideals of PERMATA to the community in a concise and cohesive manner, and offers a clean, modern design, easy-to-navigate functionality, and a content-rich site experience.
To attract children and youths, the design team used bright and bold aesthetics of strong colours, vibrant pictures and videos, and compelling information to give the website a strong visual impact.
The PERMATA programme website was designed to be flexible and robust for long term use so that PERMATA staff will find it easy to maintain and update.
In her speech, Datin Seri Rosmah hoped that “the website can facilitate a better and faster communication channel between the Permata and its audiences.” Datin Seri Rosmah also said that the website was launched to provide an effective information sharing mechanism for users.
“Special thanks also to the YBhg. Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Paduka Dr. Lim Kok Wing and the creative team in Limkokwing University for helping to design this new PERMATA programme website.”
