Number crunching and problem solving has always been Janice’s forte. Coming from a business oriented background, while the other kids were playing hopscotch, Janice spent her evenings at her family’s grocery store learning the trade.
“The business industry is very challenging because there are a lot of changes especially with consumer mindset and behavior. Therefore it is vital to always be a few steps ahead at all times,” Janice shares. Currently working as a lecturer in the Business Faculty at Limkokwing University, Janice also deals with student affairs as a student liaison.
As Janice shares her Malaysian experience with us, she reminisces her educational journey at Limkowing University, “Working with people who come from different cultural backgrounds made me realise that there are a lot of things I never of thought in my previous academic experience.I learnt to think outside the box by communicating with and understanding my fellow peers. Everyone takes a different approach and adopt different point of views. I accepted this as an opportunity for me to learn from.”
