Limkokwing University of Creative Technology was honoured with the Most Iconic Brand for Creative Technology Education Award at BrandLaureate’s BestBrands Award 2017-2018.

The announcement was made at the BrandLaureate Gala Dinner held at the Majestic Hotel, Kuala Lumpur on 3 May 2018, themed “Institutionalise Your Brand to Internationalise the Brand”.

The winners were announced by the Asia Pacific Brands Foundation (APBF) at the prestigious event, attended by more than 800 guests comprising corporate leaders, brand owners and leading personalities.

The highly coveted trophy, crafted in pewter and plated in 24K gold, was accepted by Limkokwing University Vice-President Datuk Dania A. Wahab, on behalf of the University’s Founder and President Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Paduka Dr Limkokwing.

“This theme (Institutionalise Your Brand to Internationalise The Brand) is most befitting as in this competitive business environment, brands must be more than just good and strong, they must be great and achieve institution status if they want to withstand the test of time and remain successful over the years. An institution brand is about great leadership.

“The brand is the leader in its respective field, has strong attributes that define and influence the industry, impact the community and leave an indelible mark,” said the President of The BrandLaureate, Dr KKJohan, in his opening speech.
