Limkokwing University welcomed Supt. Tharamadurai R from the Royal Malaysia Police (RMP) on 21 September 2017 to discuss opportunities in educational partnership related to the fight against cybercrime.
A specialist in education and training, Supt. The partnership will see Limkokwing University utilize its industry-leading expertise in digital media to assist RMP by conducting research, providing training venues and developing learning modules specifically designed to enhance the cybercrime combat-readiness of the Malaysian police force.
This will include information communication, online forensics, and related courses to identify internet-related crime and monitor suspicious online activities like online fraud, international scams, extortion, and terror-related offences.
