Limkokwing University and FPT University of Vietnam signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 17 August 2018 with the intention of entering into an academic collaborative agreement for the mutual benefit and development of both organizations.
The agreement was signed by Limkokwing University Post Graduate Centre Manager, Dr. Phung Siew Poh and FPT University Vice Rector, Dr. Tran Ngoc Tuan, representing their respective institutions.
Under the agreement, both parties agree to work closely and participate actively to promote collaborations in areas like student mobility program, student exchange program, promotion of lectures, workshops and exhibition.
Students from FPT University will have the opportunity to spend one semester studying in Limkokwing, to grasp and experience the diversity and multicultural values that’s practiced by this University.
“We want our students to have international exposure and Limkokwing University can certainly provide that type of exposure that we are looking at, ” said Dr. Tran.
The two faculties that will be most involved in this partnership are the Faculty of Multimedia Creativity (FMC) and the Faculty of Communication, Media and Broadcasting (FCMB).
“I heard that Limkokwing University Multimedia and Communication related-courses are really strong and those would be areas that our students would be interested in,” added Dr. Tran.
