The Federation of Malaysia Manufacturers (FMM) and Limkokwing University signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on 25 January 2019 to produce a collaborative platform in increasing Malaysia’s brand competitiveness globally.

Present at the signing ceremony were FMM’s Vice President Dato’ Goh Boon Kim; FMM Chairman (Selangor Branch), Mr. Jacob Lee Chor Kok; Vice Chairman, Ms. Michelle Hah and Ms. Mag Ng and SME Association of Malaysia Secretary General, Mr. Tan Sin Su to mention a few.

Limkokwing’s senior vice president for industry empowerment Datuk Raja Aznil Raja Hisham said the MoU signing is a significant effort to recognise the gap between the University and FMM at the industry level to kick-start digital partnership in the next coming years.

“To increase global competitiveness, Limkokwing University will provide active training support to FMM Selangor branch members in branding, design and packaging expertise. The MoU will also allow Limkokwing students to garner industry-based education through internship programmes and industry talks or seminars,” he concluded.

Impressed with the University’s creative works FMM’s Chairman Mr. Jacob Lee Chor Kok said, “You feel and sense creativity all over this campus and I have to say, it is really amazing to see Limkokwing University establish a good brand name in Malaysia and abroad.”
