On 22 May 2018, Limkokwing students from FICT visted TSGI Cyberport, a wholly owned subsidiary of TS Global Network Sdn. Bhd (TSGN), one of Malaysia’s leading SATCOM technology and solutions provider with an ever evolving presence in Indonesia, Brunei and the ASEAN region.
One of the many networking meetings organised by Limkokwing and its industry partners, students were updated on the latest developments in the industry from the seasoned TSGI professionals.
The students were also given a brief tour of the IP Core rooms, fibre system areas, data centres and the satellite communications areas.
This data and network facility hub offers a wide spectrum of telecommunications options and flexibility which ranges from communication, teleport, full service broadcasting and access to wide range of satellite systems.

RF Engineer, Thirushakthi Dhrmarajah, said TSGN is all about service and connectivity and that the future of telecommunications technology is in safe hands.
“I like it when students ask me questions as it shows how intuitive and curious they are about things and I can proudly say, Limkokwing students are indeed creative and innovative,” he added.
Student, Dickson Inima Brown, said that he feels confident and prepared to face the future as the visit gave him valuable knowledge about how the industry works, especially the challenges faced on a daily basis.
“I am able to see that the operations in this company is similar to what I have been learning at Limkokwing University,” he added.
