Zainab from Abuja, Nigeria, is studying Masters in Communication and Public Relations.
Finding her Path
After initially enrolling at another university in Malaysia, Zainab came to Limkokwing University when she realised that Limkokwing’s creative approach to education suited her more.
“I came to Malaysia in 2011 and studied for a year at a different university. I frequently used to visit Limkokwing University, because my sister studied here. After several visits I felt like its where I belonged, the campus environment was just amazing.”
She then transferred to Limkokwing where she is currently pursuing her masters’ degree.

Zainab said the opportunity to study in an international setting gave her valuable insight into how the industry works.
“The creative way of teaching at Limkokwing is great, because we are given a platform to explore and develop various skillsets.”
She admits that before coming to Limkokwing University she was shy and did not know much about other cultures.
“My interpersonal skills and confidence have developed greatly since studying here and I have already mapped an idea of what I would like to do.”
Working at Marketing
Zainab also works at the University’s marketing department and she mentioned that working while studying enables her to kick-start her career plans.
“With a Limkokwing University education, I am confident and ready for the industry. I would advise all potential students to not hesitate to study in Limkokwing, because it is one of best universities in Malaysia.”
