Lights and music echoed around Anjung Floria in Putrajaya, Malaysia area during the Electric Run Recharged on 29 July 2017.
Co-sponsored by the Limkokwing University, AmMetLife Electric Run Recharged is a 5km fun run that provides participants with a journey through brightly coloured neon courses. Organised by Livescape Group and supported by Malaysia Major Events (MME), the run attracted nearly 14,000 participants.
Limkokwing University established its presence during the event by setting up a booth. Representatives from the University provided visitors with entertainment and refreshments to cope with the recent heatwave.
“It was very lively and colourful,” said participant Audrey Chin Nian Han. “This was an enjoyable experience for me.”
“I think that this booth is quite creative,” added another participant Tee Kai Hang while explaining that the booth helped to entertain and refresh visitors.
Runners and revellers alike took part in the evening course which began at 8pm. Participants ran through nine unique course lands which featured pulsating lights and music performances.
The evening’s performances featured Hip Hop Sensation, Silento as well as local performers such as pop trio De Fam, SonaOne, CUURLEY and Amanda Avyanna & Blastique.
