Limkokwing University welcomed members of the media on 12 December 2018 at its main campus in Cyberjaya to officially announce plans of expansion for 2019 and beyond.

Limkokwing University Senior Vice President, YM Dato’ Raja Aznil Raja Hisham told reporters at the press conference that next year will see Limkokwing University expanding into Namibia, Uganda, Nigeria and Rwanda.

“In the meantime, negotiations have begun with Pakistan to set up a campus in Islamabad following Founder President Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Paduka Dr Limkokwing’s meeting with the Prime Minister, H.E. Imran Khan, recently in Kuala Lumpur,” said Dato’ Raja.

Dato’ Raja pointed out that more governments of the developing world are seeking to partner with Limkokwing University to build their human capital with the right mix of skills.

“As the new Malaysia gears up to face a daunting future, stalwart citizens such as Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Paduka Limkokwing provide the necessary bridge for the country to rebuild and reposition itself within the global economy,” said Dato’ Raja.

He further noted that Tan Sri Limkokwing’s involvement in the development of human capital, and indirectly economic progress, of many countries have already built the vital network for Malaysia to connect its new leadership to the global community, especially of the developing world.

“The African nations see Tan Sri as a man who walks alongside them to provide solutions to their economic and social needs,” said Dato’ Raja as he referred to a time when The Kingdom of Eswatini was chairing the Southern African Development Coalition (SADC) and His Royal Highness the King of Eswatini had asked Tan Sri Limkokwing to assist in the region’s agenda to integrate and unite countries.

“The secret of our success is Tan Sri Limkokwing’s ability to look beyond education and into the socio-economic needs of the countries we are located in,” said Dato’ Raja.
