Students from Misr University for Science and Technology (MUST) attended a film and television workshop at Limkokwing University’s flagship campus in Cyberjaya.

The workshop was part of the two weeks intense Global Campus programme activities where MUST students learned new strategies in designing ideas, key business ethics and developing skills needed to give them a competitive edge upon graduation.

Through the workshop they learned the importance of social media, writing techniques, drawing skills, basic camera use, lighting techniques in film making, post-production, video editing using Adobe Premiere Pro, 3d modelling, illustration, and understanding about UI and UX website design.

Additionally, they were taught about multiple camera production (MCP) and broadcasting, dancing, makeup and costumes, as well as digital photography to familiarise themselves with the latest art and design principles and have the ability to utilize their full potential.

Among the participants of Global Campus Program workshop was Ayman Zaki, who interested in diving and underwater photography and videography.

“For me, Limkokwing University Global Campus Programme is the best because all the lecturers here are industry based, and their modules and equipment are the latest in the market,” he said.

Mohamed Hassam said mass communication students have a bright future because people will be able to see their throughout the world.

“I am interested in the field of investigation and hope that after graduation I manage to work as a journalist. For me, a career as a journalist is quite challenging especially in the Middle East. What I learned through Limkokwing University Global Campus Programme and in Malaysia helped me to complete my skills and experience. This programme is the best for me,” he said.

For Asmaa El Hussein, it is clear that the Limkokwing University Global Campus Programme meets the expectations of each Egyptian students at the end of the assignment within two weeks.

“The opportunity to dig out knowledge from these well-known lecturers is not wasted, it is so industry based and even the workshops covering top industry names and all the co-curricular activities are unique and going to help me ready for my early carrier or professional life,” she said.
