Moreover, she urged all people to open their hearts and to give cheerfully, particularly to those in need. “Yearly as we celebrate festive season, may we all be overcome by the spirit of giving as when we give cheerfully and accept gratefully, we are all blessed,” she added.

On behalf of Malibuseng Orphanage Centre, one of its care takers. Ms Moroesi Seboka expressed her gratitude to the University for uplifting the children’s Christmas Spirit and offering such special gifts towards their Orphanage home.

Ms. Maneo Motants’i one of the care takers at God’s Love applauded the University for the support that it continuously offers their home yearly.

“We are so grateful for your generous donation and want you to know that we appreciate that you remember us yearly.”  Maneo further mentioned that God’s Love is almost entirely funded by public donations, and it is only through supporters like Limkokwing that they can help as many children around the country as they do.

Giving his closing remarks, the Limkokwing Vice Chancellor Adv. Tefo Macheli commended the management of both homes for taking good care of the children as the it’s the right of a child to live and be brought up in a home and family is enshrined in the law.

He also urged Basotho to take responsibility by aiding in reducing the chances of children being put in orphanage homes. He further advised governing bodies and organizations to hold hands and assist with the development of all orphanage homes in the country.
