On 25 April 2018, Limkokwing University welcomed a group of passionate and creative students from Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) USJ 13 for a campus tour and photography workshop.
Representing their school’s photography club, the students and teachers arrived promptly at the campus with a focus of having a better understanding about photography and exposing students to the various industry skills and methods.
The students were well-equipped, each of them with their own DSLR cameras.
“We encourage students to get their own cameras, because by having one, they can learn better and have hands on experience,” said teacher, Ms. Nurul Huda Amran.

Ms. Nurul also praised Limkokwing staff for their warm welcome, describing the visit is a new and unique experience for the students because they got to meet so many people from different parts of the world.
“It is such a good sight witnessing a diverse environment and this is certainly beneficial for the students as it lets them know about the importance of working together, especially with people from different nationalities,” said Ms. Nurul.
Students were taken for a tour of the photo labs, where they learned many different techniques about photography skills and proper studio photoshoots. .
“The welcoming was extravagant and I was really impressed with the brilliant and creative architecture of the building” said school student, Nadim Hafiy Bin Mohd Kaifli.
