Limkokwing University welcomed students from the School of Management Sciences, Varanasi on 24 February 2017.

Sixty-five students from the Varanasi School of Management Sciences were given the opportunity to learn the importance of creativity and innovation in relation to today’s business development and sustainability.

The School of Management Sciences, Varanasi was rated amongst the top 50 business schools in India by the Business India Survey. In 1995, the school initiated PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management) programmes that specialises in human resources, marketing, and finance.

According to Associate Professor Rishi Raman Singh, the visit enabled students from India to experience global education standards as practised by Limkokwing University.

“Limkokwing University is one of the finest universities that I have visited so far,” he said. “The University is unique in a sense that it looks after the social welfare and peace of society.”

He explained that the University’s creative and innovative learning approach provided students with greater insights into future job prospects in the creative industry.

He also added that innovation is a crucial aspect of the modern business field in meeting new challenges.

“If you want to make yourself stable, you will need to be innovative to stand out from other competitors,” he added.

Students learn various advertising and marketing techniques which could help them cultivate their own businesses. This enables graduates to become job creators instead of job seekers.

“Innovation is important to market various products,” said Swela Rai, a postgraduate student who is pursuing her studies in management.

She also added that the University’s multicultural learning environment provides a platform for students to better coordinate their businesses and remain competitive.

Vijay Kumar Khetapal, who is also studying management, said that multiculturalism creates more awareness for students which will enable them to create sustainable business ventures.

“This gives them the opportunity to gain practical knowledge that will be useful in their future careers,” he said.

Limkokwing University is committed to ensure the expansion and social development of various businesses throughout the globe. The University engages in various educational, humanitarian and environmental efforts to create improved living conditions around the world.
