Limkokwing University hosted its 4th agent conference to update them on the latest university requirements at its flagship campus on the 29th to the 30th of October.

Over 38 agencies that act as Limkokwing University’s representatives from South Asia countries that include Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, India, Brunei, UAE and Maldives attended the two-day conference themed ‘Building Partnerships, Creating Success’.

The conference aims were to familiarise agents to the Limkokwing multicultural environment with its large international student population, and also to update them on the latest university requirements.

Welcoming these agents upon arrival were Dato’ Gail Phung, Limkokwing Vice President Corporate Development and Dato’ Fajura Juffa Mohd Mustafa Kamal, Limkokwing Vice President, Corporate & Student Affairs.

During the welcoming remarks, Dato Fajura said, “As an International University with students from over 150 countries, it is imperative to build and sustain partnerships with our agent members and partners to keep them comprehensively and precisely informed about our University.”

This conference also provides a platform for the agents to further foster academic and industry relations. The topics highlighted in the conference include Limkokwing’s academic culture, international student welfare and support services, latest Malaysian government requirements, business development, and more.

One of the agents, Shailaja Adhikary, Managing Director of IEC Group, Nepal, said that Limkokwing University is one of the popular destination for foreign universities for Nepalese students. “Limkokwing University students’ work is of industry quality, which gives them the advantage to be readily be accepted in big companies not only in Malaysia but worldwide,” said Shailaja more.
