Limkokwing Swaziland graduates have built themselves a stellar reputation locally through the competent use of skills they have learned.

Since the first batch of students graduated from the Swaziland campus, a number of grads from various disciplines have made their mark in various levels and sectors of the industry.

The positive contributions made by Limkokwing alumni live not just in the tangible innovations they created but also in the hearts and minds of the supervisors they worked under.

Lucy Mkhonta

Examinations Council of Swaziland (ECoS) Director of Product Development & Standards Lucy Mkhonta is one such supervisor.

She is tasked with ensuring the smooth running of internal and external examinations

Limkokwing University graduates showcased their capabilities by setting up IT and communication systems for the Examinations Council of Swaziland.

During her presentation, Mkhonta illustrated the role played by graduates pointing out how their communication, delivery and storage systems have been made simpler, quicker, safer and more efficient.

She said quite a number of Limkokwing students have since found permanent employment in various government ministries and departments.

Creating a legacy of excellence

The positive contributions Limkokwing Swaziland grads continue to make have significantly strengthened business relations between the university and government.

The Swaziland campus has grown to become one of the first places organizations and companies approach for interns and students to work on some of their industry projects.

Mkhonta’s praise for Limkokwing University students was shared by Ministry of Labour & Social Security’s Mabandla Gama who said, “I too have witnessed first-hand the positive changes Limkokwing University graduates are able to bring to the work environment. Because of the competency they display when executing daunting tasks our department has stopped worrying about solutions to IT and Creative Multimedia problems, we now know that we have problem-solvers for these challenges close at hand.”

These glowing reviews are testament that Limkokwing University succeeds in equipping its graduates with skills that are applicable to Swaziland’s problem-solving needs as the country makes steady progress in its quest to attain first-world status in the future.
