Limkokwing Branding & Packaging Design Centre set to elevate Malaysian SMEs to new heights

Limkokwing University in collaboration with the SME Association of Malaysia held a soft launch for the Branding & Packaging Design Centre at the Cyberjaya campus on 26 September 2018, which is set to elevate Small and Medium Enterprises in the country onto the world stage.
The SME Association of Malaysia delegation was headed by its Deputy President, Mr. Ong Chee Tat and Vice President, Mr. Terence Kuah.
Limkokwing University Senior Vice President, Dato’ Raja Aznil Raja Hisham, said that the Branding & Packaging Design Centre will serve as a resource and training centre for students.
“SMEs are now moving towards a more exciting and new approach, and Limkokwing University is fortunate to be a strategic partner to train, uplift and boost SME businesses to brand Malaysian products for the global market,” he said during the soft launch event at the Branding Gallery.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between Limkokwing University and SME Association of Malaysia is the foundation of a long-term strategic partnership aimed at branding Malaysia on a global scale.
Mr. Ong said he admired all the many achievements of Founder President, Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Paduka Dr. Limkokwing in a life spent on nation building both in Malaysia and abroad.
“As far as Tan Sri is concerned, I’m very impressed and I have to acknowledge his contribution to nation building, youth empowerment, business as well as creativity and branding. He can turn a very dull subject into a very creative and innovative subject,” he said.
