Industry Talk: Street Photography And Its Value As Documentary Photography Genre

Manu Mart (Madrid, 1979) travels through the Strait of Malacca taking as starting point the novel by the Malaysian writer Tash Aw, “The Harmony Silk Factory”. As his main character, Johnny Lim, the photographer travels in order to define the physical and human geography of Malaysia. He now brings 50 images where the captivating veil from the past is shown under the mystery and fascinating atmosphere that surround the time and the landscapes where Johnny Lim travels.
