Game meat like kudu, oryx, antelope, buffalo and occasionally giraffe is very common. Venison is also extremely popular, especially ostrich, springbok, and gemsbok, while birds, crocodile and seafood such as kabeljou, rock lobster and oysters are highly regarded.
