Dining

Nigerian cuisine is colourful and rich with different spices, herbs and flavourings and generous use of hot chili peppers. It is primarily rice or bean based with a one type of vegetable or fruit, and meat is used in most dishes.

Nigeria has about 300 tribes and each tribe has their local delicacy but all their dishes include their widely locally grown yam, plantain and Jollof rice which is a spicy and vibrant one-pot tomato rice that goes with everything, a Nigerian favourite rice recipe.
