Limkokwing Swaziland welcomes back students for 2018

7 March 2018

Limkokwing University Swaziland welcomed returning students for the new academic year, during registration from 29 January to 2 February 2018.

During the four-day registration, students from across faculties received their academic timetables for the semester ending May 2018.

The Swaziland campus offers part-time studies under the Faculty of Information Technology for employed adults to begin or continue their studies. Students under this program also registered.

Business Information Technology student Roy Chirwa expressed his enthusiasm about coming back to campus after the long holidays.

“I am very excited to be back on campus. The holidays were very enjoyable and long thus returning to campus feels good. I am particularly happy to see my friends again because it is impossible to keep contact with all of them during the holidays, some travel to places outside the country. Coming back to free campus Wi-Fi is one of my highlights; I can now browse the internet minus the costs associated with it,” he said.

Sithembiso Mngomezulu studying Event Management said after doing well academically last semester, his aim is to pass at the top of his class so he can stand a chance to further his studies via scholarship, sponsored by Limkokwing University Founder and President, Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Paduka Dr. Limkokwing.

He singled out the electrifying campus atmosphere as what he was looking forward to experiencing the most.

“It was quite exciting to be in an environment filled with young people from all walks of life on a daily basis, it is really inspiring and drives my creative side,” Sithembiso said.
