T-Systems Malaysia's Head of Technical Expert Centre, Vijay Chouhan, recently showcased the advantages of Cloud Partner Products & Ecosystems to Limkokwing University students.

Vijay Chouhan has eight years of experience in leading and guiding teams regionally. He manages complex and operational project related engagements including new solution designs, transition and transformation as well as new customer onboarding.

More than 600 students from the Faculty of Information & Communication Technology and Faculty of Business Management & Globalization learned about the business trends and opportunities in vCloud and AppAgile digital ecosystem at the T-Systems industry talk on 14 September 2017 at the Cyberjaya campus.

Vijay introduced vCloud and AppAgile digital ecosystem as a platform that could change society and economy through new business models.

“Data is the new fuel,” he explained while adding that current business departments are quick to try out new ideas. This led to a need for a platform that enables businesses, corporations and entrepreneurs to transfer enormous data.

He also mentioned that due to the increasing number of mobile devices and social media, customer behaviours have changed. This means users are demanding for immediate information in immense detail.

Via the T-Systems platform, users can rent a service to share their information resources and adjust it to their needs. The platform enables tasks that usually take months to complete to be done in a matter of hours.

As a service in the digital ecosystem, the AppAgile enables businesses to access a flexible system to engage in business ventures with fewer investments in IT infrastructure and software.

At the same time, Vijay advised students to be quick to adopt new technologies to remain competitive.

“New market players are changing the game with innovative products and services,” he said. “New services will boost businesses.”

Also presenting for T-Systems at the industry talk were ITO Product Manager (Cloud Services), Hung Yee Chan on the challenges of rapid digitisation, and Vice President GCU Americas & APAC IT Division, Global IT Operations (ITO), Andreas Truls.
